Born in Quito, Ecuador, 1958 In 1974 he initiated art classes with Ecuadorian artists, Oswaldo Moreno. In 1976 and 1977 he attended an artistic workshop in the Milwaukee Art Museum, USA. Upon his return, he enrolled in the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) to study Pedagogy and Literature until 1982, while continuing to develop his artistic career.
